The Gleason Public Library offers public access to the following technology equipment and software to meet the recreational, informational, educational and cultural needs of Carlisle’s citizens:
Preserve Family Memories with our VHS converter
The Gleason Public Library offers a VHS conversion machine to save your memories to DVD. Copy entire tapes or edit your selections. This equipment is self-service; users should bring their own blank DVDs or USB drive to save files.The machine copies in real time plus additional time for digitizing or burning to DVD; allow at least a couple of hours to convert one tape. This equipment is offered thanks to a donation from the Friends of the Gleason Public Library.

Book-a-Librarian sessions at the Gleason are tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual. A library staff member will give undivided attention to customers who want in-depth technical assistance on these and other topics such as starting an email account, joining Facebook, becoming a power user of the library’s catalog, or beginning a research project.
