The Library realizes the importance of meaningful, personal interactions for those struggling with memory loss and recognizes the value of those living with dementia and the importance of remaining and engaging in our community. Our six Memory Kits (search for “Memory Kit” in our Library of Things) for checkout are designed for caregivers, friends and family members living with persons experiencing memory loss. Kits contain items such as books, puzzles, DVDs, games, sensory activities, and more. These kits are made possible through federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
