Exciting things are happening at our beloved library! The Endowment Trustees and a dedicated team of volunteers have gathered an incredible array of art and other special items for a community-driven “Treasure” Auction.
Whether you prefer browsing from the comfort of home or mingling with neighbors in person, we have an option for you:
The Online Auction: Click Here to Bid. Bidding is open through Sunday, October 18, at 4 p.m.
The In-Person Silent Auction: Join us on Sunday, October 18th, from 1 to 4 p.m., for a free community event at Clark Farm (185 Concord Road). All are welcome to the event, whether you plan on bidding or would just like to enjoy a fall afternoon gathering with neighbors. This fun event will feature:
- Complimentary refreshments (including adult beverages)
- A viewing display of most auction items for in-person browsing
- Live music by the FRS Jazz Band
- Lawn games (weather permitting)
- Lots of fun for all!
Get the word out about our auction: Please spread the word about our auction and its wonderful donations with family, friends, and neighbors.
Proceeds benefit the Gleason Endowment’s Capital Campaign for the library renovation project. Construction work is underway but we are working hard to complete the essential fundraising needed for furnishings, equipment, and signage for the new space. This update will ensure our cherished space can beautifully adapt to meet the changing needs of patrons of all ages.
