Information:
The wood and steel rifle's trigger guard, patchbox, and rings around the barrel are brass.
"Harper's Ferry 1849", an eagle, and "U.S" are engraved into the lock plate. An "L" stencilled in gold lettering is on the other side of the stock from the patchbox. A ramrod is attached.
Modern mounting post is soldered to barrel near muzzle.
