Information:
Six snares remain on the bottom that traverse the diameter of the drum. The drum skin on the bottom is blackened in comparison to the top drum head.

The top and bottom rims are painted red; the lower rim has been repaired. The drum body or shell is of a steamed and bent hardwood secured by nails and varnished to a rich golden red/brown.

Along a brass tension bolt is the stamp in relief, "HORSTMAN PHIL". A white paper label with a printed black number "106" is affixed upside down onto the lower red rim. There is no paper label inside of the drum.
