The shot case is an iron hollow canister attached to a wooden base.
The wooden base has two rings carved around its surface; it is 2 3/4" long, and 3" diameter. The iron canister is 8" long, and its diameter is 3 1/2".
The canister is made of one sheet of metal, with one seam stretching the length of it. Four nails fasten the canister to its wooden base.
A white label with a printed black number "104" is affixed to the surface.
