Volunteering
 |
Gleason relies heavily on volunteers for ongoing
tasks such as reshelving books and other library materials. |
Volunteerism and community involvement are exemplified in Carlisle.
The Gleason Public Library, a community center for many Carlisle
residents, has always depended on and benefited from the ongoing
involvement and support of the people of Carlisle.
The Library has an ongoing need for regular shelvers,
and can also use help for special projects including weeding
the landscaping, organizing items on the shelves, and assisting
behind the scenes with recycling and book preparation. Indeed, a
great way to volunteer is to work with the Friends on their projects.
