We are happy to offer book clubs during the school year for children in grades 1-2 and 3-4. Read more below, or call 978-369-4898 and ask for Children’s. The Gleason Kids’ Book Club is open to all first and second graders. The intention of the Gleason Kids Book Club is to foster a love of reading and bring a variety of books to children. If a child can read the assigned title on his own, they should be encouraged to do so. If a child is not quite ready or prefers to be read to, parents and caregivers are encouraged to read with or to their children.
Each month, participants will meet on Zoom to discuss the selected title, enjoy a small snack and complete a small craft, based upon that month’s book. Participants will be notified about the next month’s title at the close of each book club meeting on Zoom. Books and their accompanying craft kits will held on reserve at the library for checkout via in-person or curbside pickup.

The Carlisle 3rd and 4th Grade Book Club will be returning this fall at the Gleason Public Library. Books and the accompanying craft will be available at the library’s front desk to check out via curbside pickup.
